About Us

About Us

Caring Hands Occupational Therapy offers personalized pediatric occupational therapy for neurodivergent children, including those with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and sensory processing differences, cerebral palsy, chromosomal abnormalities like down syndrome and muscular dystrophies.
Services are available at our well-equipped clinic and in community settings such as homes, schools, childcare, and kindergartens. NDIS participants welcome.

Our approach

At Caring Hands Children’s Therapy, we combine play-based and movement-based therapy to support each child’s development. Our sessions focus on building sensory processing, self-regulation, motor coordination, cognitive skills, and communication. Through engaging play and purposeful physical activities, we help children develop the confidence and independence to thrive in daily life.
At our clinic, we follow a bottom-up approach to therapy, focusing on building strong foundational skills that support all areas of a child’s development. Sensory processing and regulation are at the heart of every session, providing the essential basis for engagement, learning, and growth.
Through individualized, evidence-based therapy, we help children develop focus, attention, gross and fine motor skills, handwriting, emotional regulation, and self-care abilities. Our work is child-centered, holistic, and family-focused, empowering children and their families with practical strategies to thrive at home, in school, and in the community. By combining occupational therapy techniques with complementary practices such as yoga and reflex integration, we create a nurturing, motivating environment where children feel confident, supported, and encouraged to grow.

“We celebrate every small step forward, knowing that progress is a journey unique to each child.”
